An old-school, hi-tech television set!
 
The original ad said: "Enjoy the combination of an elegant AQUOS™ Liquid Crystal Television design and a versatile, EDTV-compatible Advanced Super View panel, with the AQUOS™ 20" Multimedia LCD TV from Sharp!" ... but that was waaaaay back in 2005. It's not state-of-the-art anymore, but it's still a nice TV!
 
This is NOT a High Def TV. It's a standard definition (640x480) LCD TV, which provides a nice clear picture and very good brightness and black levels for an LCD. This would make a great addition to an extra bedroom, kid's room, or kitchen. It's a flat screen TV and you can hang it on the wall if you want, but keep in mind "flat screens" from a few years ago were NOT paper thin. This set is almost 4" deep with the included wall hanger. On its stand the TV measures 19"x19"x9" - compact enough to sit on a shallow bookshelf or tuck into a corner.
 
You won't find any HDMI ports on this TV, but you do get a set of component inputs because this unit can handle an EDTV signal from a DVD player. If you've got cable, its robust 181-channel tuner allows you to plug right in if your cable company allows it.
 
The LCD panel Sharp put in this set was top-of-the-line at that time. It offers 170º viewing angles, deep black levels and a 60000+ hour life rating. It also has built-in, decent-sounding stereo speakers and a room brightness sensor that adjusts for ambient light, making this a great bedroom TV. It's a bright, colorful display with no dead pixels.
 
I'm selling it because it sits in a spare room unused. It comes with a full-featured remote control, desk stand, and power supply. It works perfectly and is in excellent cosmetic shape. I do not have the original box, but I do have the manual.
